GN Olsson Mastercraftsmen are
specialists who design, make, and do restoration, conservation, and alteration work on antiques, interiors, furniture, clocks, frames, boxes, and artifacts.
Our craftsmen and women use time honoured, traditional, authentic methods to maximise value and longevity. They include traditional tradesmen, artists, and restoration & conservation specialists. In this fast paced high tech world we live in, there are still some amazingly clever people who use the same authentic materials and hand tools as their predecessors from centuries ago. Things are built to last, to exacting standards, with focused attention to detail.
GN Olsson Mastercraftsmen hold affiliations and memberships with designers, antique dealers, valuers, fine arts & conservation associations, and industry groups. This means we can access a wide range of expertise and colleagiate support – all to your benefit.
Some claim to be experts at all things, however, this is neither realistic, nor likely. In times gone by, each skill was a completely separate trade taking 10 years to master. Today the best traditionally trained people often are self-employed. However, no man is an island.
At GN Olsson Mastercraftsmen, Gary Olsson is both craftsman and overseer. Working with his team of employees and collegiate specialists, they collaborate as a unified team to get the best end result in a timely fashion. Because we engage in collaborative projects, clients are able to gain access to the talents of the very best in each field. It is a modern day, network equivalent to the workshops of olde.
With more than 25 years doing business in this olde fashioned manner, GN Olsson Mastercraftsmen are recognised locally and nationally, as a highly competent, one stop shop. Gary Olsson takes full responsibility for all commissions. This isn’t as onerous as it sounds, because such highly talented people are not inclined to let anyone down. It is a matter of professional pride. Gary Olsson is the head tradesman who personally meets with you to discuss, then manage
your particular project.
Our aim is to maximise value and longevity. This means doing the right thing by the item, as well as maximising the value of your investment.
