When you first telephone our family business you will enjoy friendly,helpful assistance. This ensures you can easily explain your requirements and make an appointment.
Gary Olsson, Proprietor of GN OLSSON, will personally attend to your query. He’ll come to your office or home, in business hours, to discuss your needs. Alternatively, you may like to call in at our workshop.
Gary will be the one overseeing your commissioned work, often doing the more challenging aspects of the task himself. We ensure we are reliable with our appointments, which may be a pleasant change for you. Gary listens to you to gain an understanding of your request, then provides you with information about choices and consequences of these options. You are then in a better position to make an informed decision about how you’d like to proceed.
Following your appointment and discussions with Gary you will receive a free, no obligation quotation which clearly outlines what processes are involved in the conservation, restoration or making of your piece. We ring to make sure you have received our quote, and check whether you have any queries. No work is commenced until you are completely happy and satisfied with what we are proposing.
Where appropriate we offer design sessions, drawings, pre-polish inspections, photos and samples to ensure that what you imagined you were ordering, is what you actually receive.
Since we are a larger sized business, you will enjoy getting your work completed in a much shorter time frame than most boutique restorers and custom designers can offer.
When at your workplace or residence, we take great care to look after your floor coverings, furniture and furnishings. To the best of our ability, we work within your deadlines and commitments, be they domestic or commercial, to minimise disruption.
Our pick up and delivery service, installations, and after sale service, (though rarely required!) is second to none.
We'll advise you on how to maintain your piece of furniture, or make arrangements to maintain it for you, should you wish.
